Chris Skidmore was the UK Energy Minister who signed net zero into law in 2019 and was the Chair of the UK Net Zero Review in 2023, publishing the influential Mission Zero report. Recently, he chaired the Policy Working Group of the UK Transition Finance Council and sits on the UK Net Zero Council as co-chair of its Sector Transition Plan working group. He is also Chair of the Centre for Economic Transition Expertise (CETEx) at the LSE.
