Patrick is Head of Infrastructure Finance, Europe & Americas, sitting within HSBC’s Infrastructure Finance & Sustainability team within Corporate & Institutional Banking.

Patrick joined HSBC in the UK in 2005 as part of the Structured Capital Markets/Bonds team. Since 2006, he has focused on financings in the infrastructure space. In 2017, he relocated to Sydney and assumed the responsibility for HSBC’s Australian Infrastructure and Real Estate Finance business in 2019. He returned to London in 2022, assuming the roles of Head of Infrastructure Finance & Structured Bonds, EMEA and Real Asset Finance, Europe, which he held up to March 2025.

Patrick has led transactions in event, capital structuring/debt advisory processes, acquisition financings and placed debt in bank, bond and institutional markets and across a wide range of infrastructure sectors, including utilities, power & renewables, energy transition, transportation, digital & telecoms, oil & gas, and public private partnerships.

He holds a MSc in Mathematics and Finance from the University of Dortmund.
