Mr. Sahota joined Fasanara Capital Ltd in 2020 and is a highly experienced legal and compliance professional with an extensive background in international financial markets. With a career spanning over 20 years, Satjeet has developed a deep expertise in cross-border regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and strategic legal advisory within global financial institutions. In his current role as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Head of Special Projects (including overseeing the firms Tokenisation Projects) and Situations, Satjeet plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the firm seeks to adhere to complex international regulatory frameworks while also driving key strategic initiatives that align with the firm’s broader business objectives.

Prior to this role, Satjeet held senior legal and compliance positions at ASMA Capital, Jefferies International, RBS and ABN AMRO, where he gained extensive exposure to capital markets, corporate finance, and investment management across several jurisdictions, including Europe, United States, APAC and MENA.

Satjeet holds a LLB (Hons) from University College London and a MSc in Investment Banking Securities and Regulations from the ICMA Centre at Henley Business School.
