Esther is the Founder and CEO of 3C AGI Partners (3C), a Hong Kong based VC dedicated to foundational technologies shaping the AI era: compute efficiency, data architecture, algorithmic refinement, and hardware optimization. We believe these invisible yet critical layers are the true engines of AI’s enduring advancement.

We believe that great investors aren’t made in meetings - they’re forged in the field. Prior to founding 3C, Esther was a founding member of SenseTime, Hong Kong’s leading AI company. There, she led $6 billion in funding and execute its landmark 2021 IPO, while overseeing investment into 50+ AI related ventures. With hands on experience gained from collaborations with partners like SoftBank, Sony, and Samsung, it reinforced her conviction that infrastructure, not applications, drives sustained progress in AI, a focus that positions 3C among Asia’s few specialized investors in this strategic domain.
Earlier, Esther spent two decades in global finance at institutions including J.P. Morgan, CICC, and Barclays, structuring technology cross-border transactions that laid the groundwork for today’s AI ecosystem.

Esther is a strong champion for youth empowerment through her advisory role at the HK AI Lab and her board position with Junior Achievement Hong Kong. She holds an Executive MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
