Claire is Managing Director, Global Head of ESG and Sustainable Finance for Investment Bank - Fixed Income & Currencies.
Claire is co-lead of the Industry Sector Net Zero Banking Alliance work and is the co-leading Oil & Gas and Real Estate work. She is on Deutsche Bank’s Nature Advisory Panel and is a member of the Mobilizing Capital GFANZ initiative. Claire is co-chair of the Board of Directors of Deutsche Bank Turkey and is a member of the Fixed Income & Currencies Executive Committee.
Claire joined the bank in 2003, and during her tenure she has held various positions across structuring, sales, trading and governance, including Head of Emerging Market Structuring and CEEMEA Coverage, co-head of CEEMEA Structured Credit Trading.
Prior to Deutsche Bank Claire held various positions in the New York and London offices of Merrill Lynch, including Commodity Derivatives, European Securitization and Latin America Structured Products groups.
Claire holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College with a major in Finance, Economics, and International Business.
Sustainable Finance Transactions Highlights w/ focus on Renewable, batteries/storage, behind-the-meter / microgrids, conventional power:
• USD800 million Financing for Phase 1 of the build out of the largest announced solar & storage project in North America
• USD550 million Development financing to support 30+GW renewable pipeline
• USD535 million construction finance for portfolio of eight front-of-the-meter utility scale battery storage system
• Redaptive USD 125 million Senior Secured warehouse facility for Energy-as-a-Service company
• Sunrun USD 800 million Revolving securitization warehouse facility to support installation of residential solar power and battery storage systems
• Various lending and bond transaction for Emerging Market sovereign and sub-sovereign issuers under Green or Sustainable Finance Frameworks
