Zygmunt is responsible for making the world’s networks safe. Secure against the threat to security and cryptography from a Quantum Computer.
He works with Government in the US and UK, and with leading telecom operators globally.
He co-lead the creation of the GSMA Post Quantum Telco Network Task Force (PQTN), to bring together 50+ mobile operators and suppliers. He is editor for all its reports.
Previously Zygmunt was Technical Leader for IBM's Telecom Industry. He was responsible for IBM's Telco Network Cloud, Network Edge and 5G Security solutions. He co-lead the design of the first telco edge platform in the world, and co-lead delivery of one of the first telco clouds in Europe. He has also advised western governments on the security of 5G.
He has filed over 30 patents and has spoken at over 100 conferences. He is a member of IEEE, was educated at Imperial College, has lived in 5 countries and done business in 44.
