With over 20 years of experience working at the nexus of business, energy and sustainability, Marisa brings extensive knowledge and insight to enable us to further grow our low carbon portfolio.

Most recently, she was managing director and global head of sustainability at JPMorgan Chase (JPMC), where she led a team responsible for developing and driving implementation of sustainability strategies across the firm’s lines of business and operations. She also led JPMC's efforts on ESG and climate reporting, shareholder and stakeholder engagement, sustainable finance policy and regulation, and sustainability grant making focused on climate mitigation and community resilience. During her tenure, she served on the FSB's Taskforce for Climate-related Financial Disclosures and the Nature Conservancy’s Impact Finance and Markets Advisory Board.

Prior to joining JPMC, Marisa was an energy analyst at Bloomberg and previously held roles focused on energy and the carbon markets. She received a B.A. from Wellesley College and a M.P.A. from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. She also serves on the non-profit Board of the Environmental Law Institute and was recognized in 2021 as an Environment+Energy Leader 100 honoree for her work and leadership in sustainability.

Marisa was raised in the California Bay Area and has lived in Boston, New York City and most recently, Washington, DC. She loves reading, cooking, mixing new cocktails, practicing her tennis skills and travelling (especially to visit family in Cape Town).
